Before you use any device for a dime on security, there are many preventing ways for it , you can take that will protect you against the most common breaking threats.

1. Enable or Install a personal firewall as possible . It's primery requirement of internet use and the stop spammer  enter virus. World wide many firewall available , best is default firewall.
